Service design project to provide historical waypoints into the digital twin of Tallinn

Intro

In my IxD.ma studies, Tallinn Strategic Management Office provided us with a task in Service Design: find future uses for a digital twin of Tallinn.

Process

Following a familiar design path in our IxD.ma studies, but with a twist of having our whole team self-manage and delegate at first (I tried digging in my contacts and investigating how Ülemiste Smart City thinks of the topic by talking to leadership there). From there we split into ~3 person teams, honing in on a area of interest, my team taking a heritage protection angle. The final concept was individual, based on all the previous research.

Outcome

We presented our concepts at the Strategic Management Office. Here are my slides.

Role

Many interviews were organized, had, recorded, transcribed and analyzed. Pictures were taken as waypoints to remember and present our doings. A solid amount of confused chats were exchanged with team- and coursemates.
